Dave Weich is the president and founder of Sheepscot Creative, a marketing strategy and brand development agency based in Portland, Oregon. The company's clients include HarperCollins Publishers; the Oregon Cultural Trust; General Merrill A. McPeak, former chief of staff of the United States Air Force; and Portland-based startup Student Stylists.

From 1998-2009, Dave directed marketing and development efforts at Powell’s Books. He is the creator of Out of the Book films, a literary series that screened in more than 70 American cities. His work has been featured in the New York Times and recommended by both the New Yorker and the Webby Award-winning culture guide “Very Short List.”
